Specific Skills
- A Current registration with AHPRA
- Medication management
- Proficiency in using smartphones and applications (e.g., Microsoft Outlook)
- At least 6-12 months of professional experience (experience in caring for the elderly is advantageous)
- Must hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
- Up to date vaccination as per Australian Government Regulations, including but not limited to Influenza and COVID19
- Must hold a valid Manual Handling Certificate
- Must hold a valid FIRST AID
Responsible For
- Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently without clinical support.
- Regularly monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Assist in the assessment and management of wounds, including dressing changes and monitoring healing progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including observations, interventions, and outcomes.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
